About Me!

Elyse is a stage manager and theatre artist based in Vancouver, British Columbia and has been a part of the performing arts community since a young age. Training in all styles of dance since she was a child, Elyse fell in love with the theatre and the stage. After having the opportunity to stage manage a year-end dance recital, her interest was peaked about the inner workings of theatre and design.

In 2018, Elyse was accepted to Capilano University's Technical Theatre program, where she was trained in all aspects of technical theatre, primarily focusing on stage management and scenic painting. After graduating in 2020, Elyse transferred to The University of British Columbia where she recently completed her degree with a BFA in theatre production and design.

Elyse took to stage management easily in her first year at Capilano University and has never looked back. She takes pride in being able to incorporate her dance training and knowledge of performance into how she supports her team and utilizes all of her skills both within theatre and dance and outside of the arts to bring special energy into the rehearsal space.
